Every Friday, March to December at 11 am there will be free guided walks starting from outside Ilam Park Visitor Centre. There will be one hour and two hour walks to choose from. There is no need to book. They say, "Just turn up."

Ilam Park
Whilst other people in the area were trying access the walk to the stepping stones in Dovedale, we had Ilam Park almost to ourselves The Dovedale car park was under repair so cars were being squeezing into lay-bys. Just a mile up the road at Ilam all was tranquil.
