About Us

The Club was formed in 1958 with the aim of promoting and developing an interest in photography. Our membership, typically, ranges between 40-50 in number and a wide spectrum of ages. We like to think ourselves a friendly and informal group where the experienced photographers within the membership, guide and inspire those beginning their journey into photography.

Visitors are always welcome to come along to see who we are and what we do.

A detailed listing of the Programme of Events can be seen by clicking on the 'Programme' tab above. In general, the season runs between September and May, with weekly meetings on Thursdays (20.00 - 22.00hrs, 19.45-22.00hrs on Competition evenings) and monthly Workshops on Tuesdays (start 19.30hr).

We also have a series of Summer Walks from June to August.
