“An Evening with Laurie Campbell – Scottish Wildlife Photographer” on 21 June 2013 at the Swan Theatre, Worcester.

Laurie began photographing wildlife in 1970 and has since worked almost exclusively in Scotland where he enjoys photographing a wide range of natural subjects from lichens to golden eagles. He was recently voted one of 30 people from the past 300 years whose work has significantly contributed to the understanding and enjoyment of the natural history of the Scottish Highlands.
He is an entertaining speaker on his photographs and the environment. He is a judge for the ‘BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year’, a competition in which he has previously won twenty three awards.
Laurie will be talking about his methods and locations, telling tales of his exploits, and showing a great many new and previously unpublished images including some from a recent year-long commission on the Isle of Harris photographing Golden Eagles.
It will be a fascinating evening for photographers, non-photographers and all with a love of the natural world.
