Mount Tiede

Mount Tiede is a must visit site on Tenerife which of course means lots of tourists to give your pictures scale :-) 

Most tours stop at this site with volcanic plugs. You can get to the top of the volcano on foot but only 200 permits a day max are issued and you must have a guide. You can go by cable car but that only takes 32/34 at a time in its two cupolas and you have a timed return. If it gets a bit windy it stops. I don't know what happens if you are at the top when they stop it!
