The Inca Trail

As some of you will know, I trekked the Inca Trail in October. The Inca Trail is around 43km at altitudes between 2,500m and 4,200m over 4 days, with a lot of ups and downs, and steps galore! The trek ends at the iconic Machu Picchu. In addition to the walking we also spent a total of 3 days in Cusco, which used to be the Inca’s main centre for most of South America. All in all, a fantastic trip and the only question is, where to next?
