So now it is Sunday, still no car and the rain is persisting outside. So I decide to try a bit of indoor macro photography.
After watching a few youtube video clips I decide to make my own improvised light box. Equipment used: camera, macro lens, tripod, bedside lamp, piece of card covered with foil as a reflector. A second piece of card cover in foil made into a box shape to help focus my on camera flash. Wired the camera to the laptop to use as a trigger. Full setup can be seen on my webpage link below.
