One of Gary's favourite places for photography is Padley Gorge, Derbyshire.
"Padley Gorge is famous for its forest setting with a
stream that runs through it from the hills. The unique part of the stream is that the
water flows through peat which makes it go brownish coloured so when doing slow
shutter speed shots to get milky water, the water has a brown hue which is
different. The water passes moss covered stones which also very appealing, an
old wooden bridge goes over the stream and the overhanging trees are also very
picturesque."
Though the weather forecast was poor, Gary set out early on Wednesday 6th June for another photo shoot. "As the weather was going to break around the lunchtime we had an early start aiming to be finished by 12.00.
It was a most enjoyable morning's photo shoot and we even had streams
of sunlight coming through the trees at one point."
