At Snowshill Manor With Tony

I last visited this quirky house some 50 years ago, my memories are of a cluttered untidy place bursting with interesting objects. I particularly remember that  the

Samurai warriors being at the end of a corridor and only lit as you got near them  scared the kids silly.
Now I get the impression the place has been 'curated', exhibits are fewer and more neatly arranged. However there is a plus side as the National Trust now allow, at the managers discretion, photography inside most houses, usually without flash. All these shots, just straight records of things that interested us, were taken hand held at very slow speeds on the X100 set to 1600 ISO.
