Stepping Back to the 1940's

Despite rain showers people were in a friendly mood at the Severn Valley Railway station Bridgnorth today. Many people had dressed specially for the occasion and were happy to pose.


Trains were packed with people keen to enjoy the festivities at each station. At Bridgnorth Lola L'amour, who has featured on many photos entered into photographic competitions, entertained with songs and dances from the 1940's. There were also other excellent singers and a brass band.

Step back to the 1940's on the Severn Valley Railway will also take place on 24th June, 30th June and 1st July.
